Virtual Direct Primary Care Scope of Services 

Virtual Direct Primary Care gives patients access to healthcare providers from anywhere via The CHAMP Plan™ app.

Virtual Care is designed for relatively minor conditions that do not require a medical procedure, such as a sinus infection, earache, sore throat, or UTI. Virtual Care also provides care to patients who typically see providers once for a relatively minor health issue without continuity-of-care, similar to the care provided in urgent care centers.

Not all conditions are suitable for Virtual Care

You should seek immediate emergency care if you are experiencing life-threatening conditions such as neurologic symptoms suggestive of stroke, chest pain or shortness of breath, trauma involving the head, neck, or trunk, or serious trauma to extremities (amputations or crush injuries.)

You should visit your primary care provider if you are experiencing conditions such as persistent nausea or vomiting, moderate dehydration, lacerations requiring repair, minor wounds, or for immunizations.
